It’s time to think about the special T-shirt design for our upcoming festival.  The deadline for entries to be submitted to me is April 30.  You can send your designs to me by e-mail (hellenmartin@att.net) or mail (Hellen Martin, 1514 Country Forest Ct., Grapevine, TX 76051).  There will be three secret TGS members making that hard decision.  The winner will be announced May 30 on the TGS web site.

Since this T-shirt is for this year’s festival, you must have 2008, Lone Star Gourd Festival, and a gourd drawing included within your design.  It would be wonderful if you could include Fredericksburg, TX.  Additional information you might want to include is the fact it’s our 13th annual festival and the date of the festival which is October 18-19, 2008.  Please make the design no larger than 8 X 11, but it may go across or down the T-Shirt.  Also, have no more than 3-4 colors since this is what increases the cost of the T-Shirts.  Another thing to remember is that large colored areas tend to make the T-Shirt hot and stick to you.
